Braille Battery’s 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid Time Attack car was on display at the Hot Import Nights Show in Miami FL December 20th. While at the show this amazing car won a design award for the best vinyl design and graphics of the show.
Ray Ferriera, the designer of the vehicle comments, “This award was a testimament to the excitement of this vehicle and the broad reach of this type of vehicle. This car was built the showcase the potential future of motorsports and tuning. The outside of the car was designed to show visual movement while combining “Green” elements of the vehicle with the racing heratige of all the companies involved.”

Urban Racer Comments: “Braille Battery’s newest creation, an Altima Hybrid! This is a unique build in so many ways. The time attack Altima is tuned to run on E85 ethanol gas, which makes it truly green in addition to the obvious DuPont paint job. The environmentally friendly Altima also impresses with solar panels on the roof that constantly charge the vehicle’s batteries. Even the rear exhaust tips are in the shape of leaves, while inside the Sparco racing seats are made from recycled materials to show off what the Nissan is all about. This is definitely an interesting and impressive concept for a time attack build.”
